Guidelines for preparing your abstract

The abstract should be as informative as possible. All abstracts must be written in English. Abstracts should be submitted as email attachments in MS Word format (or IBM compatible), and consist of a title, author list (full names), author affiliations (full address of organisation), with the presenting author underlined, email contact details of primary author/presenter. For authors from several institutions, indicate the appropriate affiliations using the numerals 1, 2, 3, etc.
Abstract length should be of approximately 300 words. Use Times New Roman, 10 point font, with single line spacing, size A4, margin 2,5 cm.
Title must be typed in bold capital letters. The abstract should not contain any undefined abbreviations or unspecified references. Maximum 1 reference might be added to the abstract. Please indicate a preference for an oral or poster presentation. If no instructions are given, the presentation will be scheduled as a poster.
The Scientific Programme Committee will make final decisions as to the type of presentation contributors are invited to make.
Accepted abstracts will be published in the Book of abstracts to be distributed to all participants. Abstract should be sent as an e-mail attachment to In the subject header of the e-mail, indicate ‘Eucarpia GR2009 abstract’.

Final deadline (Extended) for the submission of abstracts: April 6th, 2009.

Full Paper Submission

Participants will have opportunity to submit full length contributions to be published in a special issue of a peer reviewed journal. Manuscripts should be submitted by email to or could as well be delivered (USB Flash Drive or CD-ROM are preferred) at the beginning or during the meeting (registration desk).
